Helen Green Design has recently returned from Hangzhou, the capital of China’s Zhejiang province. It is most famously known for its West Lake, celebrated by poets and artists since the 9th century, which encompasses islands (reachable by boat), temples, pavilions, gardens and arched bridges.

In Hangzhou, contemporary boutique hotel with enviable views of the mountainous green landscape, in the heart of the capital city. The design concept for this luxurious 48-room hotel and spa, consists of minimalistic interiors with a trace of the orient. Hangzhou is an epicentre between Shanghai and Ningbo, attracting guests internationally.

Helen Green Design completed the conceptual designs for the reception and lobby, tea rooms, bar and restaurant, hotel rooms and suites, as seen in the images below.
