HGD appointed to design interiors for a contemporary villa in Vienna
Helen Green Design has been appointed to design the interiors for a contemporary villa in Vienna, Austria.
This luxurious property sits in the middle of a small vineyard overlooking the city and is located only 15 minutes away from Vienna’s historical Centre, tucked away between the traditional villas renowned in this suburb.
The beautiful property comprises of a newly built Main House with a floating staircase and floor to ceiling windows bringing in extraordinary landscaping and light in to the property. The ground floor will include an open plan Living Space, Entertainment Area and Family Kitchen. On the First floor, the design brief includes three children’s Bedrooms, and a Master Suite with a Terrace overlooking the vineyard on the Second Floor.
Within the Lower Ground Floor Helen Green will be designing the swimming pool Lounge Area, a Spa & Gym as well as a Cinema Room and Underground Garage.
Helen Green will work with local architects, Archiguards as well as the project developer MBT Investment GmbH. The project will be finished to an extremely high standard and the whole house will be fitted with quality materials, such as oak timber flooring, walnut paneling to walls and rare natural stone to bathrooms.
In addition to the Main House, Helen Green will be designing the Pool (guest) House which sits adjacent to the Villa, and the Guest Cottage as well as the Wine Cellar.
The Client is relocating to Vienna from overseas and after being enchanted with the location and the design of the villa, they contacted Helen Green Design with the brief to create an innovative space with cosy, timeless and elegant design throughout.
