Winner Selected For the Helen Green Design Award In Partnership with the Inchbald School of Design
Helen Green Design presented Irene Romberg with the Helen Green Design Foundation Award on the 10th of July 2019. The Helen Green Design Foundation was established in 2013, in memory of Helen Green, to help talented individuals who are interested in design to pursue their passion.
Annually, the Helen Green Design Foundation offers a creative and determined candidate the opportunity to undertake an Interior Design & Decoration Course (duration ten weeks) at the Inchbald School of Design. The opening for submissions is November each year, with a deadline at the end of January. This year saw a substantial amount of applicants, including past interns from the Helen Green Design Studio.
Helen Green was known for her style and love of design. A passionate mentor of emerging talent, she had a unique ability to inspire the young designers who sought to follow in her footsteps.
The Foundation, which operates in conjunction with the Inchbald School of Design, offers bursaries, grants and support for career development. Helen studied at the Inchbald and was immensely proud of her association with the school.
Submission details for the 2020 award will be open in November 2019. Applicants will be asked to complete a project and submit it digitally by a January deadline. For further information, please here.
