Helen Green Design Studio has been located at its 29 Milner Street address for over 20 years.

Nestled between Belgravia and Knightsbridge, we have been privileged to work on many projects in our neighbourhood and keep rediscovering this lively area as it develops over the years.

Knightsbridge, located south of Hyde Park, is known for its luxury retail, clubs, and famous department stores, such as Harrods and Harvey Nichols. However, high end properties are what Knightsbridge is best known for. These properties can range from spectacular penthouse apartments to grade-listed Georgian and Victorian stately homes. Both styles of which Helen Green Design are experts in tailoring to, keeping homes timeless and relevant.

We wanted to share some of our favourite projects completed in this wonderful neighbourhood.

Apartment in Knightsbridge

One of the Helen Green Design team’s most recent projects was an apartment in Knightsbridge located within a Grade II listed building. The property overlooks the resident’s stunning private gardens creating a serene and natural backdrop for this timeless home. The interiors consist of four-meter-high ceilings, intricately designed cornicing, and furnishing which is picked with care to create a harmony between traditional and contemporary elements, like the Knightsbridge area itself.

Penthouse in Knightsbridge

Whilst the ‘Apartment in Knightsbridge’ was a nod to the elegance of London’s high-end districts, this penthouse is more suggestive of London’s characteristic industrial elements. Through the hints of earthy burnt orange tones and rich blues to contrast, alongside brass and bronze finishes this penthouse is suggestive of a more masculine yet warm concept compared to the penthouse’s stately terraces and traditional entrances.

The Berkley Hotel, Knightsbridge

Finally, to preview a commercial aspect of Helen Green Design’s extensive portfolio of the Knightsbridge area, a three bedroom suite, inclusive of a drawing room, dining area, and powder room was designed and installed for The Berkley Hotel. Subtle luxuries were added to the suite through fine brass detailing and textured finishes. The suite was also completed with bespoke furniture from the Helen Green Design collection and the iconic HGD Aura wallpaper used on specialist joinery panels to elevate the space.
