Joanna Benton
Studio Director
Joanna Benton is a Studio Director with over 17 years of experience delivering high-end residential interiors of exceptional quality and character. Renowned for her thoughtful, intuitive approach and deep passion for textiles, her work spans an impressive breadth of projects, from private residences and royal palaces to exclusive yacht clubs.
Joanna’s career has been shaped by senior roles at some of London’s most respected design studios. As Design Manager at Violet and George, she developed a insightful understanding of soft furnishings, a client-led design ethos, and a lasting appreciation for bespoke specialist craftsmanship. She later joined Studio Reed as Associate Designer, where she led complex international projects across the Middle East and New York. These experiences refined her fastidious eye and reinforced the importance of collaboration across large, multidisciplinary teams.
Alongside her design leadership, Joanna has been instrumental in advancing award-winning ESG initiatives within practice. Working closely with Positive Luxury, she helped establish the ALLECT ESG Lab, an employee-led platform championing responsible design, social equity, and innovation. Her philosophy is grounded in the belief that sustainability and aesthetic excellence should be inseparable.
Storytelling sits at the heart of Joanna’s work. She thrives on creative challenges, crafting interiors that reflect the values, histories, and aspirations of each client. The result is spaces that feel deeply personal, emotionally resonant, and enduring. Known for her warm, collaborative leadership style, Joanna has built long-standing relationships with clients, artisans, and suppliers alike, delivering interiors defined by integrity, foresight, and meticulous attention to detail.
Outside the studio, Joanna enjoys time outdoors and is a keen runner, often drawing inspiration from travel and new environments.


Charlotte Miller
Senior Designer
Since joining Helen Green Design in 2018, Charlotte has worked on a number of projects including an apartment in Chelsea, holiday home in Barbados and country house in Surrey.
Having qualified with a 1st Class BA in Interior Architecture and Design, Charlotte is an accomplished interior designer. Charlotte has extensive knowledge of super-prime residential design having previously worked with the highly renowned Candy and Candy. Her technical ability and passion for great design have ensured the delivery of a wide range of projects for private clients.
Charlotte’s strong interest in traditional and contemporary architecture provides inspiration for her designs and has led her to being instrumental in the design of some the studio’s most significant projects. Since joining Helen Green Design, Charlotte has developed an interest in specialist craftsmanship and bespoke furniture which are integral to the studio’s design schemes. With her passion for interior design starting whilst at school, Charlotte is inspired by architecture, travelling and exploring different cultures.

Simrit Panaich Jhutty
Senior Designer
With a BA in Architecture and a Master’s in Interior Design, Simrit brings technical skills and a passion for exceptional design to the Helen Green Design team. Her passion has led her to be instrumental in the delivery of a range of private client projects.
Simrit’s design style is inspired by contemporary, British design with carefully selected colours to develop considered and complementary design schemes. Her passion for design is led by exploring creative solutions to design challenges whilst meeting the client’s needs and aspirations. Simrit is inspired by nature and its symmetry which builds within the narrative for a design scheme, influencing form, concept and detailed design. In her spare time, Simrit enjoys exploring new cultures through cooking, photography and travel.

Elizabeth Norman
Junior Designer
Having graduated from the University of the Arts London with a First Class BA in Interior Design, Elizabeth joined Helen Green Design in 2022. She began her career as an intern, gaining experience in the skills and standards required for luxury residential design, before progressing to the role of Junior Designer within the Helen Green team. Elizabeth has risen to new challenges and thrives in a collaborative environment, particularly enjoying the creative development of exciting project concepts.
Elizabeth enjoys travelling and immersing herself in new cultures, broadening her global perspective and applying this awareness to her work as an interior designer for clients in the UK and overseas. She values the opportunities to travel with Helen Green Design, including working on site in the Middle East, where she has collaborated first hand with clients and project teams.


Erin Jordan
Junior Designer
With a strong appreciation for conceptual design and spatial storytelling, Erin pursued a career in interior design. Originally from South Africa, she graduated with a First-Class BA in Interior Architecture and Design. She thrives on being involved in every stage of a project, from early concept development to final delivery, with a particular focus on interior architecture and the technical detailing that brings ideas to life.
Known for her positive, people-oriented approach, Erin brings high energy and collaboration to every project. She sees great design as the balance of imagination and precision, resulting in spaces that are engaging and functional. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active through tennis and exploring new destinations, particularly countries known for their sunshine.


Lily Lawson
Junior Designer
Since joining Helen Green Design in March 2025, Lily has contributed to projects across all phases, from concept development and schematic design to FF&E coordination and installation. She brings a considered and design-led approach, drawing on both architectural training and experience in luxury residential interiors.
Originally from Toronto, Lily began her career in architectural practice before moving into high-end residential design and bespoke furniture work. She relocated to London at the end of 2023 to grow her career in the luxury design sector and has since worked on private residential projects in the city and around the world.
Lily graduated from the University of Toronto in 2021 with a degree in Architecture and a second major in Visual Studies, focusing on art history, theory and visual culture. At Helen Green Design, she is particularly inspired by the studio’s refined aesthetic and collaborative ethos, and enjoys shaping interiors that are both elegant and responsive to how clients live.

Allect brings together the finest names in luxury design committed to the quest for excellence and strives to ensure the long-term development of each of its design houses, whilst staying true to their identity, heritage and expertise.
