Townhouse, Wimbledon
Situated on one of the most prestigious roads in Wimbledon Park, this beautiful private residence belongs to long-standing clients of Helen Green Design. The interiors of the home were originally completed by the studio over a decade ago, creating a strong foundation of timeless design that continues to define the property today.
The clients returned to Helen Green Design to refresh a selection of key rooms and to design a brand-new space within a recently constructed indoor–outdoor extension. Working closely with the clients throughout the process, the studio ensured that each updated area not only reflected their evolving lifestyle but remained true to their established aesthetic.
The refresh focused on introducing a richer palette of colour, organic forms, and beautifully crafted bespoke elements. Custom joinery, hand-embroidered artworks, and carefully considered detailing were incorporated to enhance the existing interiors while maintaining a seamless visual dialogue between old and new.
While the scale and finish of the home are undeniably luxurious, it is first and foremost a busy family residence. Every design decision was made with intention, placing equal emphasis on beauty and functionality to ensure each space is practical, comfortable, and designed to be fully enjoyed every day.
