We are proud to share that Joanna Benton, Associate Director for Helen Green Design & Sustainability Manager for Allect, is running 100 miles in support of Cancer Research this September. She is currently on day 16 and has already completed 65 miles, and had some very early mornings.

Joanna says:

“We hear that cancer affects 1 in 2 but it’s a completely different narrative when that becomes your reality. My close friend has stage IV cancer, she is a single mum of a gorgeous 6 year old girl and is completely awe-inspiring. The grit, determination, elegance and optimism is unequivocally admirable and has taught me so many life lessons.

Pioneering treatments are essential for relief and the luxury of time. I am so grateful for the research already available and hope that by completing this challenge we can contribute as a collective to any advancement and care where it is needed most.”
