The majority of our projects however are based in London and surrounding areas, including the county of Surrey, which is home to some of the most expensive homes in the UK and is a hub for prime real estate. Many of our clients choose to move to Surrey for several reasons, including increased space and privacy, the surrounding tranquil countryside and greenspaces, excellent schools and also the proximity to London and airports. Below we’ll take a look at some of the most affluent areas of Surrey to live in and the top prime real estate locations. St. George’s Hill
Located between Weybridge and Cobham, the first area on our list is St. George’s Hill, a private gated community consisting of around 420 houses. When entering this well maintained and highly secure gated community, you are met with winding roads lined by leafy greenery and trees – a vision that seems like it should be miles away from nearby London. St. George’s Hill’s proximity to the capital and surrounding airports are just two of many appealing factors to its residents.
Residents are also able to make use of the variety of amenities located within the community including a golf club, tennis club, squash courts and gym, a 20m swimming pool and beauty spa. The above-mentioned niceties and its convenient location do however mean that homes here come with a large price tag and subsequently, St. George’s Hill is known to be one of the most exclusive private residential addresses outside of London. Many residents purchase older properties in this community to demolish and build new homes, typically in a Neo-Georgian architectural style, the most prominent architectural style in St. George’s Hill.
