Country House, Cotswolds
Set within an idyllic Oxfordshire village of South Newington, this project was thoughtfully restored and renovated by Helen Green Design, alongside an established client of the company. Collaborating with landscapers and contractors on site, the Helen Green studio elevated two village homes into a single 2,700 square foot beautiful family home-away-from-home.
From the outset, the designers collaborated closely with the client to develop a concept that reflected their personal taste, whilst also being carefully considered to withstand the test of time. Helen Green Design’s commitment to timeless interiors ensures that any future owners of the property will enjoy the space from the moment they move in.
The studio has a breadth of knowledge from London townhouses to country residences. It is this that allowed the team to curate a design that aligned the London homeowner’s need for high-quality finishes, with the airy, calming feel of a country village home, producing the outcome holiday makers in the Cotswold would expect to find.
No detail is too small for the Helen Green Design team. An important process within this project was accessorising and staging the property to look desirable to potential buyers. Artworks were specifically curated and the dining table set with chosen dinnerware and glassware to ensure anyone walking into the space could feel welcomed and relaxed from the moment they enter.
