Applying our Skills to Create Safe and Liveable Homes

At their core, homes are foundations for safety and belonging. This year, we are proud to be partnering with Furnishing Futures, a charity that supports women and children as they rebuild their lives after escaping domestic violence by helping to furnish council homes with care and intention.

Furnishing Futures works closely with local authorities and support services to transform empty properties into fully furnished homes for women and families who have often had to leave everything behind. Their work is practical and considered, focused on creating spaces that feel calm, stable, and genuinely liveable at a time when that matters most.

Our partnership began following a volunteer day at Furnishing Futures’ warehouse, where our team supported the preparation and organisation of donated furniture and household items. Seeing their operations first-hand helped us understand both the scale of need and the importance of thoughtful interiors in supporting new beginnings.

As a design studio, furnishing interiors is the core of what we do. This partnership allows us to apply our skills in a direct and meaningful way, working closely with Furnishing Futures to create a functional and welcoming home for a woman they support this year. Sustainability is a key part of this initiative, with surplus and unused furniture being repurposed rather than wasted.

We are grateful for the opportunity to support Furnishing Futures’ work and to contribute, in a practical way, to creating spaces that help people move forward with dignity.
