This luxury interior design renovation project involved the complete transformation of a 2,000 square foot apartment located in the Harcourt House building in London.The project included a partial refurbishment of the apartment, including wall finishes, joinery design as well as furniture specification throughout the apartment. The design incorporated high-end finishes and materials, such as hand painted silk wallpaper, custom artisan furniture, and bespoke lighting. The colour scheme was carefully chosen to create a warm and inviting atmosphere, while highlighting the architectural features of the space.Helen Green Design worked closely with the clients throughout the project to ensure that their vision for the space was brought to life. The renovation was carried out by a team of skilled craftsmen, who ensured that every detail of the design was executed to perfection.The completed apartment is a luxurious and stylish space that reflects the clients’ personal style and taste, while also incorporating the unique charm and elegance of the Harcourt House building. The project was a great success and the clients are thrilled with the final result and appointing Helen Green Design on several other projects for their properties in UK and abroad.

Joanna Benton is a Studio Director with over 17 years of experience delivering high-end residential interiors of exceptional quality and character. Renowned for her thoughtful, intuitive approach and deep passion for textiles, her work spans an impressive breadth of projects, from private residences and royal palaces to exclusive yacht clubs.
Joanna’s career has been shaped by senior roles at some of London’s most respected design studios. As Design Manager at Violet and George, she developed a insightful understanding of soft furnishings, a client-led design ethos, and a lasting appreciation for bespoke specialist craftsmanship. She later joined Studio Reed as Associate Designer, where she led complex international projects across the Middle East and New York. These experiences refined her fastidious eye and reinforced the importance of collaboration across large, multidisciplinary teams.
Alongside her design leadership, Joanna has been instrumental in advancing award-winning ESG initiatives within practice. Working closely with Positive Luxury, she helped establish the ALLECT ESG Lab, an employee-led platform championing responsible design, social equity, and innovation. Her philosophy is grounded in the belief that sustainability and aesthetic excellence should be inseparable.
Storytelling sits at the heart of Joanna’s work. She thrives on creative challenges, crafting interiors that reflect the values, histories, and aspirations of each client. The result is spaces that feel deeply personal, emotionally resonant, and enduring. Known for her warm, collaborative leadership style, Joanna has built long-standing relationships with clients, artisans, and suppliers alike, delivering interiors defined by integrity, foresight, and meticulous attention to detail.
Outside the studio, Joanna enjoys time outdoors and is a keen runner, often drawing inspiration from travel and new environments.

With a strong appreciation for conceptual design and spatial storytelling, Erin pursued a career in interior design. Originally from South Africa, she graduated with a First-Class BA in Interior Architecture and Design. She thrives on being involved in every stage of a project, from early concept development to final delivery, with a particular focus on interior architecture and the technical detailing that brings ideas to life.
Known for her positive, people-oriented approach, Erin brings high energy and collaboration to every project. She sees great design as the balance of imagination and precision, resulting in spaces that are engaging and functional. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active through tennis and exploring new destinations, particularly countries known for their sunshine.
